In loving memory of a special Mum, Grandma, Sister and Friend who lived and fought neurofibromatosis

Phyllis was such a kind and loving person who devoted her life to her family: her son, daughter, and granddaughter. She loved animals, especially her pet cats and helped the wildlife.

During the latter part of her life, Phyllis became very poorly due to the painful tumours that were continuing to grow on her body. She always wished that there was more support and research for the condition. Everyday became a struggle emotionally and physically but her love for her family kept her strong. Her life was sadly cut short at 59 years old due to dangerous neurofibromatosis tumour that grew on the back of her neck that caused spinal damage and lung failure. She sadly lost her life to the condition whilst at home surrounded by her loved ones by her side. Her family are deeply saddened by the loss.

As a family we are seeking donations to help raise more research into the condition. We understand how hard it is seeing someone close struggle with the condition and would like the money that is raised to go into the Nervetumours Charity to help make a difference. Please help us, your donations will be gratefully appreciated.

INFER (International NF Educational Resources) is a series of online educational lectures for medical professionals by leading neurofibromatosis experts. The Masterclasses take place online approximately once a month, each on a different topic, and include real-time interaction between the expert presenter and the participants. The presentations are conducted in English, with real-time audio interpretation available in 6 additional languages: French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish. A recording of each INFER masterclass is then be made available online in each language for those who could not attend an event.
