Our Mum, Christine Weber, died on the 1st August 2025 due to complications caused by neurofibromatosis at the age of 73. She battled the disease for over 20 years, which eventually took her ability to walk, hold her head up properly and in the end, to use her hands. Neurofibromatosis is an awful disease which can very slowly and significantly degrade a persons quality of life. We would appreciate any donations to Nerve Tumours UK so they can carry on their work helping other people manage this dreadful disease.

INFER (International NF Educational Resources) is a series of online educational lectures for medical professionals by leading neurofibromatosis experts. The Masterclasses take place online approximately once a month, each on a different topic, and include real-time interaction between the expert presenter and the participants. The presentations are conducted in English, with real-time audio interpretation available in 6 additional languages: French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish. A recording of each INFER masterclass is then be made available online in each language for those who could not attend an event.
