Toby is fundraising in memory of Tristan Gray
Run
Me and my half-brothers, Alex and James, will be staying up for 24 hours straight, running a mile every hour (and a little extra to get us to the 26.2 miles)
This event is to commemorate 10 years since I lost my half-brother, Tristan Gray, who battled Neurofibromatosis 2. NF 2 causes tumours to grow on nerve endings throughout the body, most notably, and dangerously, on the brain and spine. Often the removal of these tumours can result in facial palsy and total hearing loss.
Currently there is no cure for Neurofibromatosis so it is important that charities like Nerve Tumours UK receive donations so they can carry on providing fantastic support, as no one with Neurofibromatosis should have to go through it alone.
Every donation, no matter how small, will make a difference to someone out there.
When: 5th March 2021 starting at 10am until 10am on the 6th
How will it work: The first two runs will be 2 miles then the other 22 runs will be 1 mile every hour

Well done, the three of you. Tristan would have loved this challenge - he once claimed to have run to Sussex on a night out!
