London Marathon 2025
16 April 2025

Meet Our Team NTUK Fundraisers
Ian Boden
"This will be my second London Marathon and Adrian’s 10th. We’ll once again be running for Nerve Tumours UK — a charity that’s incredibly close to our family’s heart. Through fundraising, we hope to raise awareness of NF1, improve treatments, and one day, help find a cure."

Adrian Maj
For his 10th London Marathon, Adrian is donning a full Spider-Man suit — mask and all. Why? Chosen by his niece who has NF, and he’s doing everything he can to raise awareness for a condition that often flies under the radar.
"I run for NTUK because it’s my way of helping out — to improve lives and raise recognition for a charity that does so much good."

Sarah Burbridge
Sarah’s running her first ever marathon at 40, driven by her daughter Lilly, who was born with NF1.
"This charity is a lifeline — not just for Lilly now, but for her future. I never thought I’d be a runner, but this is my personal challenge for a cause that means everything to us."

Nikki Roseblade
Diagnosed with NF1 at 9 months old, Nikki has faced her share of challenges — including multiple surgeries.
"Running has become my passion, and I’m proud to run for NTUK to raise awareness and hope for others like me. This charity’s work needs more support, and I’m honoured to help however I can."

Nyall Novakovíc
Nyall is running for his aunt Kristina, who lives with Schwannomatosis.
"Seeing what my aunt has gone through has driven me to support NTUK — because no one should feel alone with a rare condition. The marathon is my way of making a difference."
Kristina adds, "NTUK was the first place I turned to after my diagnosis. Their support has been life-changing — from the helpline to advice that helps guide my care."

Andrew & Libushka
Andrew and Libby are taking on the marathon together — Andrew in his wheelchair and Libby running beside him — in support of their son William, who was diagnosed with NF1 as a baby.
"NTUK and their nurses have been with us every step of the way. From medical advice to emotional support, they’ve been incredible. This marathon is our biggest challenge yet, and we’re doing it for William — our sporty, scuba-diving, football-loving warrior."

Helen Lynn & Rachael Burton
Helen and Rachael are running for Lola, diagnosed with NF1 in 2015.
"Lola is a true warrior. No matter what she faces, she does it with a smile. We’re running to support her journey and to raise funds so that families like ours aren’t alone as they learn, adapt, and grow stronger every day."
