James on Tour
James Wiggin is taking on the Tour de France on behalf of Nerve Tumours UK – or at least a part of it.
He is cycling in the Etape du Tour, which is one stage of the actual Tour de France. Along with 15,000 other cyclists he will attempt to ride the 130km, which climbs a forbidding 4,600m.
James is hoping to raise a considerable amount for Nerve Tumours UK and we at Nerve Tumours UK would like to firstly say thank you to him for going the extra mile for our charity, on top of wishing him good luck ahead of his challenge! 😊
Here he explains why the charity is important to him:
– James"My wife is a paediatric neurology consultant, specialising in Neurofibromatosis. So I understand, from talking to her, about the impact it has, and how important it is for Nerve Tumours UK to raise awareness and provide support. I hope my ride can contribute to that work."
