Fyling Fest Fundraiser
Fyling Fest 2025: Sunshine, music & a whole lot of heart in the Rose Garden
02 March 2026
Nerve Tumours UK would like to extend a huge thank you to Fyling Hall School, for their continued efforts to raise awareness of NF, and funds for the charity. Their fantastic support for Bea, throughout her school life, is a wonderful example of what can be achieved, and a testament to the supportive ethos of the school.

Who can forget the wonderful photos from the awareness day they held in May 2023, on World NF Day, with Bea’s classmates and teachers wearing blue and green, and the special blue and green dinosaur cookies!
We were delighted that for Fyling Fest in 2025, the school’s annual festival and concert, the school chose to fundraise for Nerve Tumours UK.
On one of the sunniest days of the year, the Rose Garden at Fyling Hall was transformed into a hub of music, fun and community spirit, as all great festivals should be - full of good vibes, good food, and even better company. Live music was provided by the Year 10 class band, Over The Limit and The Soul Bros Blues Brothers.
"As a school, we were so proud to play a small part in helping Nerve Tumours UK continue their incredible work, a charity doing vital work to support children and families affected by NF, including Bea, who has Neurofibromatosis Type 1 (NF1).
From providing Specialist NF Nurses to emotional and practical support, this is a cause that means a great deal to us.
Fyling Fest 2025 was about more than just fundraising - it captured everything we love about our school: togetherness, talent, and a willingness to muck in and make something magical happen.
Fyling Fest 2025 was a celebration of music, sunshine, and what can happen when a community comes together for a good cause." Helena Swain, Head of Music
Nerve Tumours UK is extremely grateful to Fyling Hall School for raising awareness of both the charity, and the condition, at Fyling Fest 2025, and for helping us reach more people. Quite simply, without support like this, the charity and its crucial services would no longer exist, which are vital for the likes of Bea and her family.
