Rebecca
NTUK was chosen as the Worshipful Company of Horners' Charity of the Year, with Deputy Master Rebecca taking on a wing walk challenge as part of their fundraising activities.

Toad Hall Nursery
Toad Hall Nursery's annual fundraising day, raises money for charities who support their families. This year they chose to support Nerve Tumours UK as three year old Lily, who attends the nursery, has NF1.

Summer Fete
Katie
Katie & Craig's 11 month old daughter Nellie was diagnosed with NF1 last September. As part of Craig's London Marathon 2027 fundraising, they will be running two stalls at their local summer fete, with a tombola, guess the teddy's name, and some amazing prizes up for grabs.

Sarah
Sarah's son Sonny was diagnosed with NF1 at 10 months old and faces daily challenges. She is taking on the Basildon Half Marathon challenge in support of her children; to raise awareness of NF1; support families navigating a similar journey and to help fund research and services through Nerve Tumours UK.

Theo
Ironman Wales
On Sunday 13th September, Theo is taking on IRONMAN Wales in Pembrokeshire: 2.4 miles of sea swimming, 112 miles on the bike and then a 26.2 mile marathon. In total, 140.6 miles and 10,000 feet of savage Welsh climbing.

Copenhagen & Cardiff Half Marathons
Nikki
Nikki, who has NF1, is taking on four out of the six Super Half challenges this year: Lisbon, Prague, Copenhagen and Cardiff. She joined Team NTUK for the 2025 London Marathon, an experience that pushed her physically and mentally, and also inspired her to keep going.

Christine has been fundraising for the charity for many years as her grandson has NF1.

- £12 could fund a copy of our iNForm Your School Pack
- £35 could fund Nerve Tumours UK digital platforms, e-newsletters and essential updates for the NF Community for one month
- £70 could fund both an initial call and follow-up one from our National NF Helpline
- £100 could fund approximately two hours of Specialist NF medical support and follow up
- £215 / £270 could fund a school advisory meeting with parents & associated medical practitioners or a home visit, crucial for newly diagnosed de novo cases
- £1,350 could fund a part-time Specialist NF Nurse for approximately one month
