Christmas Karma - Celebrations with the NF Community
"Be kind and be brave", a positive message supported by film director, Gurinder Chadha. We are grateful that she is helping to highlight the potential life-changing impact of Neurofibromatosis Type 1 (NF1) by casting Freddie, who has NF1, in the role of Tiny Tim in her new movie "Christmas Karma".
The movie is a modern day "Christmas Carol" and includes a thank you to the hard work of the NHS, hence there was no better place to organise a festive screening, attended by the director herself and Freddie, than at the MediCinema at Guy's and St Thomas Hospital in London.
The event was organised as part of their annual Christmas celebrations by the team at the Neurofibromatosis Centre, who are based there, and supported by NTUK as part of their monthly coffee club activities; a social and information forum for patients that are registered with the NF centre.
The movie is now screening nationwide at cinemas near you. Thank you to the team at Bend It Movies and our own NF warrior Freddie for Shining a Light on NF! Here's to a kinder and braver 2026!
