Whether it's your first time fundraising for Nerve Tumours UK or you've fundraised for us before, we are here to help make your fundraiser a success.

• Decide on your fundraising activity or event

Tell us what you’re planning; we’ll guide you through and offer support. If you haven't decided, check out our Fundraising Ideas A-Z for inspiration.

We can provide fundraising materials such as balloons, banners, information leaflets, collection tins or mini collection boxes, sponsorship forms, T-shirts, and Gift Aid envelopes.

Email fundraising@nervetumours.org.uk and tell us what you need and when the event is.

If you want to create your own fundraising flyers or social media images, we can email you our Nerve Tumours UK logo, and QR code for the donation link or website.

• Set up your fundraising page 

Your fundraising page will have more impact if you share your story or your reason for fundraising – make people care. Tell people what you're doing to raise money, when it will be, and where it will happen. Adding a photo helps illustrate your story and makes it more personal. Add updates so donors can follow your progress.

• Promote your event and fundraising page

Share your fundraising page on your own social media; email it to family and friends; contact your local press depending on the type of event; have your fundraiser mentioned in your school or company newsletter; or print posters and share wherever you can.

Send us the link to your fundraising page and we’ll do a shout out on our social media pages.

If you're being sponsored for your event, remind your sponsors to add Gift Aid, if they can.

We love to share our fundraisers' stories and photos on our website, social media pages, and in the biannual magazine. We always ask for permission before sharing.

• Collect donations/ sponsorship and send them to us

You can do this by online bank transfer or pay by cheque, we'll send you the relevant details.

You will receive a thank you letter after your fundraising page has closed. We can also send a thank you certificate (on request).
