Steve Brine MP meets the Burbridge Family
Steve Brine MP recently met with one of our most active families in the way of fundriaising and spreading awareness for Nerve Tumours UK, all in the aid of young Lily (NF1). Mum Sarah has recently ran her first half, while Grandad Jem recently walked more than 100 miles along the Pilgrims' Way, and Dad Pete is set to take part in the Prudential RideLondon this August, in which you can sponsor him here
Now they have recently contacted and met with MP Steve Brine who has exclaimed at how delighted he is to help spred awareness for Neurofibromatosis.
– Steve Brine MP"“Neurofibromatosis is classed as a rare condition but it’s sadly not as uncommon as people think. We urgently need to raise its profile and work with related charities, as well as researchers working in this area, to start developing treatments for children like Lilly.” "
