Former losing contestant on much loved ITV quiz show 'Blockbusters', metaphorical swashbuckler DANIEL KITSON hosts an evening of stand-up comedy on World NF Awareness Day in support of Nerve Tumours UK. It’s what Bob Holness would have wanted.
Joining Daniel will be an exceptional variety of established and newer acts from the comedy circuit including Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee JESSICA FOSTEKEW, ‘rare exotic bird’ PAUL FOOT, Comedian’s Choice Awards Best Performer winner LAURA LEXX, Dave’s Edinburgh Comedy Awards Best Newcomer winner LARA RICOTE, British Comedian of the Year and BBC New Comedy Award winner DAN TIERNAN, Chortle Best Newcomer Award winner CELYA AB and BBC New Comedy Award finalist and Radio 4 regular WILLIAM STONE.
There will be a BSL interpreter signing the show, please contact the Union Chapel directly with your booking details if you would like to be seated near the interpreter.

Daniel Kitson
A critically acclaimed comedian, writer, storyteller, sometimes actor and community radio DJ, who consistently sells out runs of both his stand up and story shows across the UK, North America and Australia.
Jessica Fostekew
Comedian, actor and writer. Star of Motherland (BBC) and Cuckoo (BBC/ Netflix), host of The Hoovering Podcast and regular co-host of the behemoth The Guilty Feminist.
Paul Foot
A comedian with a unique style, Foot has appeared on several television series and panel shows including FAQ U, Rob Brydon’s Annually Retentive, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Russell Howard’s Good News Extra, Would I Lie To You, and 8 Out Of 10 Cats.
Laura Lexx
Comedian, author, improvisor and actor. She has appeared on Hypothetical (DAVE), Mock The Week (BBC), Roast Battle (Comedy Central), and is one of the main hosts of the Comedy Club (BBC Radio 4 Extra).
Dan Tiernan
Named British Comedian of the Year in 2022, Dan Tiernan is also known for The Holy Duty, BBC New Comedy Awards and Rosie Jones's Disability Comedy Extravaganza.
Lara Ricote
Comedian turned storyteller, performing in English and Spanish. Lara also does improv, sketches and news shows and teaches stand up comedy.
William Stone
Stand-up, comic actor and writer. William's writing has featured on Mock the Week, The News Quiz and Newsjack and has live stand-up on BBC Radio 4 and Radio 2
Celya AB
Finalist in the 2021 BBC New Comedy Award. Celya recently appeared as a guest correspondent on Yesterday, Today and The Day Before (Comedy Central) and performed a stand up set on Festival of Funny Live (BBC). A regular writer for BBC Radio’s The News Quiz
