NF (NF1, NF2, SWN) - What support did you need on receiving your initial diagnosis?

An initial diagnosis of a life-long medical condition, can raise many questions and concerns.

Here at Nerve Tumours UK, we have qualified medical professionals on hand to help with all of those questions and concerns, medical or otherwise. We can also signpost you to allied specialist support services, so ensuring you receive the best possible, and most appropriate, support and care.

We constantly appraise our services, and especially want to review what you have found, or you would find helpful, immediately after your initial diagnosis.

We would appreciate your input, with answers to 7 short questions.

The survey launched on 17 May and is running throughout World NF Month, closing on 31 May 2023 - Take part in the survey to improve the lives of future diagnoses.

INFER (International NF Educational Resources) is a series of online educational lectures for medical professionals by leading neurofibromatosis experts. The Masterclasses take place online approximately once a month, each on a different topic, and include real-time interaction between the expert presenter and the participants. The presentations are conducted in English, with real-time audio interpretation available in 6 additional languages: French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish. A recording of each INFER masterclass is then be made available online in each language for those who could not attend an event.
