Call for evidence for new 10-year plan to improve mental health
15 June 2022
In order to carry this out effectively, the Neurological Alliance have asked their members to share this survey to capture your views to guide the Department of Health & Social Care and help shape the future of mental health.
From the Department of Health and Social Care
Poor mental health and poor wellbeing have an impact on every part of society, and every part of society has a role to play in supporting positive mental health and wellbeing.
There is a need to take a radical new, truly cross-society approach to promoting wellbeing, preventing mental health conditions emerging, intervening earlier, improving treatment, supporting people with mental health conditions to live well and preventing suicide.
The Department of Health and Social Care need your support and ideas to develop a comprehensive plan that will help set and achieve their vision for mental health in a decade’s time.
The 12-week call for evidence will seek views on what can be improved within the current service and build their understanding of the causes of mental ill-health.
Take part and make your voice heard
You can respond to any or all questions using the online survey by 11:45pm on 7 July 2022.
